This is me. And my mom and dad. This was taken in 2014, the last summer they lived at home. My dad was diagnosed with suspected Alzheimer's Dementia in 2011. My mom followed closely behind with a diagnosis in 2012. I believe the signs were there long before the actual news came. Dad was more obvious as he was the more outgoing of the two. Mom hid her symptoms very well behind the guise of taking care of my dad. I'm the middle child of 5 kids. I've been in the trenches with Mom and Dad since 2012. We have had awful days and then really amazing days together.
